Carla Anderson
Carla is originally from Shreveport and a part of Elite’s founding team. She has been around the healthcare industry most of her life and helps oversee daily operations of Elite. Her main goal is to create outside of the box thinking for the healthcare community. From 1995 to 2004, Carla worked for a local cardiac rehab and wellness center. After graduating in 2004 from Louisiana Tech University, she went on to obtain her Masters in Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006, where she interned at a children’s hospital in Fort Worth. “The healthcare industry is very close to my heart. I can handle the back end if our staff can handle the blood!” Prior to opening Elite, Carla worked as a recruiter for a corporate medical staffing firm and has taught as an adjunct for LSU Shreveport. “I admire intelligence and helping people. Business allows me to incorporate both of these to hopefully impact a small part of our community.” During her downtime, Carla is a wife and a mama to a sweet little girl. She is an avid LSU football and Boston Celtics fan and enjoys traveling, good music, working out and spending time with her family. |

Joanna King
A proud native of Shreveport, Joanna is one of Elite’s founders and managers. Her strong work ethic and value system has carried into the development of Elite. With several years of experience in the industry, Joanna has helped create a business of helping people and staffing quality professionals within facilities. In 2003, Joanna graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport where she obtained her Marketing degree. “I’m a firm believer in what goes around, comes around. One day I will be relying on someone to take care of me and my hope is by working in this field, I can provide quality patient care to members of our community.” In addition, Joanna is a dedicated wife and mother of two beautiful children (Isabella and Hudson) who keep her busy and instill the drive for success. During her downtime, she can be caught spending time with family and friends, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Lately, she has also taken on the interest of couponing (to which she is still evaluating how much money is actually saved!).

Cheryl Anderson
Originally from Minnesota, Cheryl moved to Louisiana over 25 years ago. She has been with Elite since the company opened and works as our on call coordinator. “This has always been a dream of Carla and Joanna. I am so proud to be a part of such a caring and compassionate staffing agency.” Cheryl is often known as the voice behind the scenes. Once you join the Elite family, you will speak to her quite frequently during the nights and weekends. Working with both Carla and Joanna previously, Cheryl has handled on-call responsibilities for over five years. “I thoroughly enjoy my job and the interaction with the different facilities and employees.” Her full time job finds her in the law enforcement industry where she has served for nearly 12 years. She has been blessed with two wonderful children, a great son-in-law and one very adorable granddaughter. It does not take much to realize how much she loves her family. And surprisingly enough, she still has her northern accent which always makes us smile! In her past-time, she enjoys creating unusual jewelry and gardening. Her happiest moments are shared with her family, her precious grandbaby and her friends.
