Since opening in 2008, Elite has helped staff a variety of hospitals, nursing homes, doctors’ offices, home health companies and hospice cases.  Currently, we work with about 40 of these various facilities, most of which are in the north LA area; however, we are in process of expanding our services to other areas of the nation.  Each Elite professional goes through an in-depth hiring process before working within our organization.

Our hiring process includes:

• Background check
• Fraud, National Sex Offender, and EPLS check
• Discipline specific competency exam
• Annual healthcare exams, such as, HIPAA, OSHA, Age Specific and Ethics
• Nationally Validated skills checklists to critically assess candidate
• 10 panel drug screen
• Formal interview
• Performance evaluations
• Facility specific orientations (if applicable)

Providing Companion Services

Companion services are services provided to individuals who need non-medical assistance with daily activities.  These services are typically sought by the elderly population, but can also include clients with disabilities or clients who might be in transition from hospital to their home.

Our companion clients want to maintain an independent lifestyle.  Services include but are not limited to:

• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Playing board games, discussing current and historical events
• Companionship and Conversation
• Grocery shopping
• Organizing mail
• Assist with Laundry
